WSID Bracket meet cancelled due to bad weather...

Mother Nature must be a V8 Supercars fan wanting everyone to focus on the Bathurst 1000 as she rained down on the WSID strip and put a premature end to the days racing after only a hours racing.

Some tried to hold out hoping for the clouds to clear quickly but by the time the sun broke through the clouds the track was already drenched and the day was almost half gone. Fingers crossed the meet will be re-scheduled for a later date. Keep and eye out on http://www.wsid.com.au/ for updates.

I managed to snap off a few shots, nothing real fancy as i was catching up with a few people first up before thier runs.

The drag strip is right next doo to the Easter Creek Raceway and there was a Motorbike track day on, so on the way to the car i dumped my bag and went over to the fence and snapped away at the 2 wheelers for a while.

Didnt have enough length on the lense to get in tight on the closest apex but the guys were not goin real fast or tight into it anyway.
